Wireless Network Settings - 802.1X + PEAP

※Please confirm that the wireless network is set to“Automatically obtain an IP address”.

  1. Open the side panel, select “Networks”.
  2. Click “nthupeap” or “eduroam”. Then click “Connect” button.
  3. Enter your wireless account and password. Then click “OK”. When you are roaming off campus or select “eduroam”, please add @wlan.nthu.edu.tw after the account name.
  4. Click “Connect”.
  5. When “nthupeap” or “eduroam” appears “Connected”, it means that the authentication is successful and can be used.
  1. On the right side of the Desktop Taskbar, click and open the network settings. Select “nthupeap” or “eduroam”. Then click “Connect”.
  2. In the window, enter your wireless account and password. Then click “OK”. When you are roaming off campus or select “eduroam”, please add @wlan.nthu.edu.tw after the account name.
  3. Click “Connect”.
  4. When “nthupeap” or “eduroam” appears “Connected”, it means that the authentication is successful and can be used.
  1. On the Desktop, select “System Preferences”.
  2. In the “System Preferences” window, under “Internet & Wireless”, select “Network”.
  3. In the “Network” window, select “Wi-Fi”, then “Turn Wi-Fi On”.
  4. In the “Network Name” sections, select “nthupeap” or “eduroam”.
  5. For “Username” and “Password”, use your wireless account and password, then click “Join”. When you are roaming off campus or select “eduroam”, please add @wlan.nthu.edu.tw after the account name.
  6. Return to the “Network” window to check the connection status. If the status reads “Connected” to nthupeap or eduroam, click “Apply”.
  1. Select “Settings”.
  2. Tap “Wi-Fi”, make sure Wi-Fi is switched to “On”, then select the network “nthupeap” or “eduroam”.
  3. For the user name and password, use your wireless account information, then tap “Join”. When you are roaming off campus or select “eduroam”, please add @wlan.nthu.edu.tw after the account name.
  4. On the “Certificate” page, click “Accept”.
  5. After the setting is completed, the authentication is successful and you can connect to the Internet.
  1. Select “Settings”. Under “Wi-Fi Networks”, select “nthupeap” or “eduroam”.
  2. For the “Identity” and the corresponding password, use your wireless account and password. When you are roaming off campus or select “eduroam”, please add @wlan.nthu.edu.tw after the account name. In the “CA Certificate” and “User Certificate” fields, select “Not Specified” for both, then select “Connect”.
  3. After the setting is completed, the authentication is successful and you can connect to the Internet.
